Katarina Eva…

is an emerging Mexican-American visual artist, curator, scholar, and event manager based in Berlin, Germany. Collections of memories, moments, and a touch of magic, her pieces act as unconventional keepsakes— vessels for nostalgia. From abstract to figurative paintings, graphics to documentary photography and more, Katarina’s work is defined by bold palettes, whimsical finish, and a tenderhearted touch.

At the moment, Katarina is best known for her abstract paintings. Though she has also collaborated on projects in the intersection of art and sport, inspiring her to launch FLOR {For (the) Love of Running} a sustainably designed collection of one-of-a-kind sun-printed athletic apparel in 2025. She is also the co-founder and former art director & editor of Anodyne Magazine, an art and literature periodical centered on FLINTA* experiences regarding health.

Katarina graduated cum laude from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Art & Perception studies, after being awarded distinction on her thesis. Her work is upcoming in shows at 7 Mares (Berlin, DE) and Amatō (Berlin, DE), and has been featured in publications such as the Berliner and Goddessarts Magazine, amongst others. Most recently, she took part in the Arquetopia Residency (Puebla, Mex) studying traditions of grief, altar construction, and decolonial history during Día de Muertos for her upcoming series.
